Axial teams up with Amco:Giffen in the Northwest

Axial has commenced support for Amco:Giffen  on the MerseyTravel Programme. Axial are providing Planning and Controls services.

MT in conjunction with Network Rail and AmcoGiffen have been assessing  the 3rd rail network to ensure the route is gauge clear for new rolling stock and address stepping issues where practical and not economically disadvantageous.

Utilising a series of railway blockades and rules of the route possessions AmcoGiffen are undertaking track realignment and coping stone re-gauging works to circa 100 platforms in Merseyside.
